It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles W. Lanham in Ooltewah, Tennessee, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Nell (Eskew) and George William Lanham; his former wife Elaine Ford; his siblings, Shirley Crawford, Robert Lanham and Grover Ray Lanham; and his stepchildren, Jack Ford and Jan Ford.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Grane Tomei; his siblings, A. Clay Lanham of LaPorte and Dorothy Stalion-Bowman of Danville, Kentucky.; and his stepchildren, Norman Ford of Portage, Jeff Ford of DeMotte, Sally Tomei Clifton of Bella Vista, Gigi Tomei of Necedah, Davide Tomei of Ooltewah, Barri Tomei Marion of Scottsdale and Duke Tomei. He is also survived by her five children, but also her parents, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Knollcrest Funeral Home (1500 S Meyers Rd, Lombard, IL 60148).
