He is survived by: his wife Janice "Janey" Carmichael; his son Paul Bowman (Ryan) of Chattanooga, TN; and his grandsons, Joshua Paul of Chattanooga, TN., Connor Christian of Chattanooga, TN. and Luke Patrick Bowman of Chattanooga, TN..

Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of David to Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Summerville Baptist Church, or Silverdale Baptist Church Missions.
