Eugene R. Crowson of Ooltewah, Tennessee, born on May 18, 1940 in Plaquemine, Louisiana, passed away on October 8, 2026. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Eugene leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Eugene’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Eugene will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Crowson and Hyacinth Crowson; his stepson Bradley Haynes; and his son-in-law Kelly Wike. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Crowson; and his daughters, Brooke Cornelius (Robbie) of Cleveland, Kathy Wike of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Kelly Holley of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Sharon Stephens Crowson of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Standifer Gap Seventh Day Adventist Church (8310 Standifer Gap Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
