He is survived by: his wife Joan Elaine Day of Ooltewah, TN; his children, Joe III (Vanessa), David (Kriste), Kellie (Shawn) and Douglas (Sonya); and his grandchildren, Ryan, Zachary, Jacob, Morgan, Peyton, Parker, London, Maggie and Gracie.
