Nancy Elaine Forgey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Elaine Forgey of Ooltewah, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 28, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvene Tipton and Beulah Tipton; her husband Rothell Forgey; and her siblings, Peggy Morrow, Cecil Tipton, Steve Tipton and Kenny Tipton.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Cagle; her grandchildren, Chelsie Nalley and Kennedy Nalley; her great grandchildren, Elijah Lee Rogers and Lillian Elaine Beverly; her daughter Miechelle Forgey (Cleveland); and her siblings, Marie McAllister, Judy Rhudy and Jimmy Tipton (Dot). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services (7454 E Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens (5351 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
