He was predeceased by: his wife Alma Inez Riggs; and his sister Freida Brooks (Yvonne Oliver). He is survived by: his daughter Renee Teague (Kenneth); his sister Gloria Johnson; his granddaughters, Stacie Teague Smith, Bridget Teague Johnston and Rachael Scarbrough; and his great grandchildren, Cody Johnston, Brodie Johnston, Brinley Green, Fisher Smith, Sullivan Smith, Reef Smith, Wilder Smith, Knox Scarbrough and Keaton Howell.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
