She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Ashburn and Bertha Ashburn; her husband Charles Aytes, Sr.; her children, Una Faye Aytes, Joyce Aytes, Alice Godsey and Alvin Aytes; her grandson Brandon Moats; and her siblings, Margaret "Hon" Ashburn, Sue Johnson and Johnny Ashburn.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Veler (Mike) of Ozone, TN, Charles Aytes, Jr. of Ozone, TN and Dwight Aytes of Tullahoma, TN.; her son-in-law Pete Godsey of Ozone, TN.; her grandchildren, Patricia Reusel (Eric), Micheal Veler (Pam), Bryan Aytes, Tinker Godsey (Rachel) and Jay Aytes (Angel); her great grandchildren, Brittany Carty (Chris), Rebecca Williams (D. J.) and Colton Aytes; her great great grandchild Billie Williams (Expected); her great grandchild Sophia Aytes (Expected); her great great grandchild Weston Carty; her siblings, Ann Paine of Chicago, IL and Willard "Wimpy" Ashburn of Chicago, IL.; Ann Szegedi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
