He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia Bates Kilgore. He is survived by: his father Houston Kilgore; his siblings, Malcomb, Manuel, Jackie, Freddie, Donald Kilgore and Simone Kilgore; his wife Stella Nunley Kilgore; and his sister Diane Layne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
