He was predeceased by: his mother Elsie Marie Griffith Layman. He is survived by: his father John Adam Layman; his brothers, J. C. and David Allen Layman; his niece Alcia Layman; his sister-in-law Andrea Layman; his siblings, Linda Layman, John Layman (Sherry) and Bill Layman; his nieces and nephews, Devin Layman, Trevor Vandergriff, Desiree, Felcia Layman and Kendra Layman Totherow (Matthew); and his great-nephew Matthew J. C. Allen Totherow.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home, Inc. (32871 TN-108, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37365). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Layman Family Cemetery.
