She is survived by: her husband Cecil Walker; her siblings, Willie Elder Lockhart, Edith Roach and Alice Keener; her daughters, Cynthia Simmons and Scarlette Walker; her grandchildren, Amanda Keener (Kevin), Amanda Songer (Jacob) and Michael Simmons; her great grandchildren, Devin Songer, Amy and Eli Simmons; and her caregiver Diane Bowman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home, Inc. (32871 TN-108, Palmer, TN 37365). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at the Browns Chapel Cemetery.
