He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Klapp and Jean Canter Klapp; and his brother Gary Klapp. He is survived by: his children, Missy Brown (Ben) of Paducah, Kentucky, Gracey Handlin (Will) of Houston, Texas, Jacob Klapp of Mayfield, Kentucky and Alex Klapp (Sara) of Louisville, Kentucky; and his siblings, Phillip Klapp of Nashville, Tennessee and Janice Calhoun of Mayfield, Kentucky. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
