He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Milan and Mabel Weakley; and his siblings, Sue Ellen Cunningham and William Milan Cunningham. He is survived by: his wife Jean Cunningham; and his children, Tony Stanfill, Steven Stanfill (Beth), Troy Stanfill, Cynthia Rye (Jim) and Linda Knobel (William). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
