She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Russell Ferguson and Ida Viola Ferguson (Pinion); her husband Vernon Arlee Laird; her children, Hubert H. "Butch" Holcomb Jr. and Pamela M. Holcomb; and her siblings, Fred R. Ferguson, Billy G. Ferguson, Martha J. Ferguson, James T. Ferguson, Alfred L. Ferguson and Reita F. Ferguson.
She is survived by: her sons, Franklin R. Holcomb (Tammie Holcomb) and James M. "Mike" Holcomb; her sister Glenda K. Ferguson Lyttle; and her grandchildren, Katherine Freeman McRoy, Jan Holcomb, Candi Beeler, Jamie Bethel, Brandi Gatlin, Franklin Holcomb, Jessica Holcomb and Matthew Niebauer. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
