She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Gorrell and Juliabelle Harmon Gorrell; her daughter Brenda Cartwright; and her siblings, Gail Gorrell Tuso and Roger M. Gorrell.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Cartwright Joyner (Terry) of Paris; her grandson Jacob Joyner (Alexandra) of Stockton, California; and her great grandchildren, Jack Joyner and Finn Joyner. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
