He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Tyree Bennett; his children, Christi Shankle of Paris and Ty Bennett (Dawn) of Paris; his sisters, Janice O'Neal of Paris, Darnell Stallings of Puryear, TN and Gail VanDyke (Charles) of Paris; and his grandchildren, Allie Jo Shankle, Hilary Bennett, Dallis Lax, Kathryn Bennett, Dalton Bennett, Daisy Bennett and Dixie Bennett. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
