He was predeceased by: his significant other Joann Johnson Atkins; his great grandchild Reid Smith; his parents, Robert Atkins and Nellie Atkins; and his brothers, Cecil Atkins, Leroy Atkins and Jim Atkins.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Atkins of Paris, Tenneseee., Linda Crowder (Randy) of Paris, Tenneseee. and Cindy Fain (Joe) of Paris, Tenneseee.; his grandchildren, Matt Crowder (Ruthie) of Cleveland, TN, Tracie Smith (Chad) of Wahalla, SC, Caleb Fain (Annie), Hunter Crowder of Franklin, TN and David Fain of Paris, TN; his sisters, Mary Beck, Beverly Hand and Bonnie Rinehart; and also, Jeremiah Crowder, JB Bailey, Will Bailey, Brie Smith, Paisley Smith, Rian Smith and Brinley Fain. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
