He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Triplett and Roberta Allison Triplett; his sons, Anthony Wayne "Tony" Triplett and Christopher Dean "Chris" Triplett; and his siblings, Sara Imadell "Dell" Wimberley, Linda Louise Hill, Norma Dean French, Brenda Triplett and James Keith Triplett.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Kathryn Denton Triplett; his sons, Barry Triplett (Jeanette) of Puryear, TN and Brad Triplett (Serina) of Holladay, TN; his sister Glenda Bruce of Paris, TN; and his grandchildren, Blake Triplett (Amber), Katelyn Triplett, Brittany Stauffer (Keith Allen), Brian Triplett (April), Garrett Triplett, Laney Triplett, Addison Triplett, Tristan Wimberley and Tanáe Martel (Eric). He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
