She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Byars and Mary Louise Kendley Byars; her husband JC Foster; her brothers, Charles, Bobby and Billy Byars; and her granddaughter Karen Yvette Foster.
She is survived by: her children, James Foster (Beverly) and Selena Louise Tharpe (Harvey) of Henry, TN; her grandchildren, Andrew Saxton, Charles Saxton, Jazzlyn Foster and Jerek Foster; and her great grandchildren, Martice Thomas and Markus Washum. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
