He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Clinton Carson and Myrtle T. Jones Carson; his wife Barbara Jean Coleman; his son Dickie Carson; and his brothers, Truman Carson, James Carson, Frank Carson and Ernie Carson.
He is survived by: his children, Donnie Carson (Linda) of Paris, TN, Dennis Carson (Denelle) of Kenosha, WI, Ronnie Carson (Diane) of Tucson, AZ and Theresa Toomey (Rob) of Norman, OK; his daughter-in-law Donna Carson of Paris, TN; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Carson of Bloomfield, MO and Judy Carson of Pocahontas, AR. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ridgeway Funeral Home (201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN 38242). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
