He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert T. Brown and Treva Lasater Moody Brown; his children, Kelly Brown and Johnny Beckwith; and his granddaughters, Kayla and Karla Brown.

He is survived by: his children, Steve Brown (Dawn) of Paris, Christy Roberson (Darren) of Springville, TN and Kellie Rendleman (Henry) of Franklin, TN; and his siblings, Norma Gandy (Bill) of Nashville, TN, Willo Brown Clark of Paris, Ronald Brown (Sue) of Paris and John W. Brown (Rosemary) of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
