He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Carter Davis and Grace Woodring Davis Hollars; and his brother Robert "Bob" Davis. He is survived by: his daughter Carmi McCadams (Tansel) of Paris; his sister Eula Davis Johnson (George) of Boone, NC; his grandsons, Brian McCadams (Candace), Brandon McCadams and James Legace; his great grandchildren, Makenna McCadams, Bella McCadams and Hayden McCadams; and his nephew Chad Johnson.
