He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Thurmond (Steve) of Springville, TN; his sister-in-law Peggy Kemp Owen of Paris, TN; his grandchildren, James Smith (Jolene) and Samantha Napier (Jimmy); and his great grandchildren, Tommy Smith, Hunter Smith, Jake Smith, Taylor Finkelman, Billie Barrett (Blake), Cameron Napier and Kaitlyn Napier.
