She was predeceased by: her parent Etna R. Jones Boyd; her husband Henry A. Carter; her son Rickey A. Carter; her grandson Scotty Carter; and her siblings, Eva Pierce, Allene Clayton, Beatrice Cook, Myrtle Canady, Leon Boyd, Gene Boyd, Jimmy Boyd and Gerald Thomas Boyd.
She is survived by: her daughter Kim Champion (Chris) of Buchanan, TN; her grandchildren, Brandy Gail Carter of Paris and Charlie G. Carter of Alabama; and her great grandchildren, John Carter and Carly Jo.
