He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard T. Byrd and Corinne Hill-Byrd; his brother Lawrence "Sonny" Byrd; and his sister-in-law Beverly Jean Byrd. He is survived by: his brother Charles Byrd; his sister-in-law Merle Byrd of Chicago, IL; his children, Teresa Byrd McCafferty of Paris and Adam Byrd (Dawn) of Milan, TN; and his grandchildren, Delores Byrd-Lynch, Creighton, Curtis, Cullen Brown, Colton Robertson of Paris and Victoria Zeiger of Shelby Township, MI. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
