He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ewing Johnson and Ethel Burnett Johnson; his wife Alice Carol Warmack "Cookie" Johnson; and his sisters, Betty Johnson Patrick and Norma Tayloe.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Carol Johnson of Paris, TN and Mark Johnson (Rosie) of Paris, TN; and his grandchildren, Alex AuBuchon (Sagan), Taylor AuBuchon (Lexi), Lauren Marcum (Jeff), Chelsea Spivey (Clint), Cara Marie Johnson and Kristin Nicole Johnson. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
