He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Chester Houston and Mary Sue Downey Taylor (Pete); and his daughter Amy Elizabeth Houston. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Farmer Houston; his son Richard Houston (Carol) of Big Sandy, TN; and his grandchildren, Matthew Houston-Fisher, Savannah Rhiann Houston, Aden Alan Houston and Ean Richard Houston.
