He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Hudson and Betty Jean Peeples Hudson; and his brother Michael Dale Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Ann Joyner Hudson; his daughter Beverly Baker (Tom) of Bartlett, TN; his brother James Lee Hudson (Barbara) of Paris, TN; his sister-in-law Patricia Hudson; his grandchildren, Nathan Shoemaker (Emily) of Medina, TN, Joshua Shoemaker (Kaitlyn) of Knoxville, TN, Lydia Walker (Jeff) of Louisville, KY, Caleb Shoemaker of Bartlett, TN and Jonathan Shoemaker of Bartlett, TN; his great grandchildren, Jude, Jennings, Janie and Stevie; and his close friend Steve Daniels (Pam).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Harmony Baptist Church (7050 State Hwy 69 S, Paris, TN 38242). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
