It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Smith Mecord of Paris, Tennessee, born in Elizabeth, West Virginia, who passed away on November 11, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Smith and Norma Davis Smith; and her sister-in-law Jan Smith. She is survived by: her husband Philip Michael "Mike" Mecord; her daughters, Nicole Breeding (Byron) of Henderson, TN and Rebecca "Becky" Mecord of Paris; her brothers, William "Bill" Smith (Kyle) of Milan and Doug Smith of Columbia; and her grandchildren, Isabella Veliz, Emma Breeding, Laine Veliz, Jaxon Veliz and Britton Breeding. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
