She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Eliott McConnell and Mamie Stella Lewis McConnell; and her pet Rudy. She is survived by : her daughter Connie McCollum Garrett (Glen) of Paris, TN; her grandchildren, Kevin Garrett (Emilee) of Memphis, TN and Emily Garrett Scanlon (Clay) of St. Louis, MO; her great grandchildren, Caroline Garrett, Helen Garrett, Peter Garrett, Kanen Scanlon and Maya Scanlon; and her caregivers, Diane Parrish, Susie Gee, Tressa Prince and Kristi Thompson. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ridgeway Funeral Home (201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN 38242). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
