He is survived by: his wife Laura Wooten Payne; his children, Cathy Finney (Pat), Michael Payne (Carol), Brandie Gross (Paul), Eddie McNamara and Aaron Lee Payne; and his sister Joy Martin (Herb). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home (1510 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025.
