With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ray Capps of Paris, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ray left this world on July 6, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Capps and Annie Ray Capps; his wife Maggie Pearl Hart Capps; and his brother Roy Capps. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Capps (Dana) of Paris, TN and Kenny Capps of Paris, TN; his sister Louise Crawford (Tom) of Springville, TN; and his grandchildren, Ayla Huitzache (Fernando), Weston Capps, Hayden Capps, Nova Capps, Ronnie Capps and Waylon Capps. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Ridgeway Funeral Home (201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN 38242). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
