She was predeceased by: her mother Audrey Tharpe; her husband Allen Cogdell; and her daughter Twyla Laws. She is survived by: her children, James Laws (Iona) of Camden, TN, Kim Brunson (Willie) of Conway, SC and Maquanta Johnson of Paris, TN.; her brother Carl Tharpe (Antionette) of Camden, TN.; and her grandchildren, Kaleigh Laws, Braxton Laws, Aleigha Laws, Logan Hatley, Autumn Warren, Chandler Warren and Dazia Laws.
