He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rudie Wimberley and Marie Sills Wimberley; his daughter Karen Wimberley Buffalo; his son-in-law Ralph C. "Dooder" Anderson, Jr.; and his siblings, Mary Elvin, Virginia Dare, Margaret Louise, J. R. Wimberley, Homer Sills Wimberley and Bailey Smith Wimberley.
He is survived by: his wife Betty S. Craig Wimberley; and his daughter Lisa Anderson of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
