He is survived by: his father John Oscar Simmons; his siblings, Tommy Simmons of John, Thomas, Zula Mae and Dolly Jane; his daughter Carol Lee Freeland; his girlfriend Teresa McFadden; his children, Christy Lynn Reynolds (Thomas), Cynthia Wellenstein (Luke), Carrie "Paddle" Ann Marshall (Robie), Patricia Fletcher (Jay), Wendi Roberts (Trey) and Brandon McFadden; and his brother David "Toby" Simmons.
