It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Shaffer of Paris, Tennessee, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Manwaring and Bertha Rives Manwaring; her husband Howard Shaffer; her son Howard Stephen Shaffer; and her brother Arthur Manwaring (Dorothy).
She is survived by: her son David Kevin Shaffer of Paris; her grandchildren, Joshua Shaffer, Kyle Shaffer (Jessica), Jennifer Lawson (Matthew), Kathryn Holtfreter (Brandon) and Katie Jo Shaffer; her great grandchildren, Natalie Shaffer, Nathan Shaffer, Noah Holtfreter, Jonah Holtfreter, Benjamin Lawson, Julian Lawson, Finnley Shaffer and Hayes Shaffer; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Shaffer of Lebanon, Tennessee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
