She is survived by: her parents, Rickey Peters and Rita Peters; her husband William Helms; her sons, James Perters Keasling and Allen Cureton (Sonja); her aunts, Charlene Gregg, Betty Jane Gregg, Phyllis Hale, Wanda Norton, Sandra Peters and Maria Peters; her uncle Norman Peters; and her close friend Ashanti Greene.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Long Creek Christian Church. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at the Peters Cemetery.
