He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Rastus Epperson and Marie Epperson Monroe (Bates); and his grandson Benjamin Perry. He is survived by: his daughters, Nicole Woodall (James) of Mt. Juliet and Amanda Troyani (Mike) of Slidell, Louisiana.; his grandchildren, Neely Cheverette (Patrick), Alex Perry (Krissy), Andrew Perry, Julianna Salcido (Josh), Jay Woodall Jr., Michaela, Megan and Mikey Troyani Jr.; his great grandchildren, Ben, Cora, Braxton, Henry, Ellis, Corbyn, Julian, Chloe and Cameryn; his siblings, Shirley Walker (John) of Parsons, Tennessee, Roy Epperson (Robbin) of Hendersonville, Tennessee and Tommy Epperson of Jackson, Tennessee.; his nephew Darrell Epperson; and his nieces, Crystal Bates and Megan Herjeczki.
