He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jo Dickson; his parents, Flora Dickson and Wiley Dickson; and his siblings, W. R. Dickson, Jerry Dickson, Ronald Dickson and Dorothy Duke Plunk.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Dickson (Jody) of Parsons, TN, Donnie Dickson of Parsons, TN and Denise Dickson Mathis of Rives, TN; his brother Robert Dickson (Patsy) of Hohenwald, TN; his grandchildren, Ricky Mathis (Brittany), Brittney Perry (Phil), Hunter Donald Dickson, Oren Pirtle (Jacob), Aubree Dickson, Sierra Dickson and Jimmy Nolan (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Reagan Mathis, Logan Pirtle, Waylon Pirtle, Sadie Grace Nolan, Stella Nolan and Kam Nolan; and his nephew Wayne Smith.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Parsons First Baptist Church (114 N Virginia Ave, Parsons, TN 38363). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Darden Cemetery.
