He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita Bell; his parents, Zoedie Bell and George Bell; and his siblings, Wilfred Bell, Grady Bell, Juanita Long, Martha Mae Blunt and Agnes Sharp.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Bell (Sharon) of Parsons, TN, Joy Threet (Phil) of Parsons, TN and Joanna Northcutt of Scotts Hill, TN; and his grandchildren, Luke Smith (Rachel), Daniel Smith (Nichole), Brandi Hill (Ronnie), Alex Bell (Mallory), Allie Philpott (Ryan), Laura Long (Wesley) and Erin Pearcy (Chase). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parsons Mortuary (134 W 2nd St, Parsons, TN 38363). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Parsons Mortuary Inc. (134 W 2nd St, Parsons, TN 38363). A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at the Crossroads Cemetery (2430 Tennessee Ave N, Parsons, TN 38363).
