She was predeceased by: her husband Hobert Bates; her parents, Cecil DeLong and Velma DeLong; and her sister Almeda Hudson. She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Smith of Parsons, TN and Donna Gaffney (Patrick) of O'Fallon, MO; her brother Gordon DeLong; her grandchildren, Stephen Gaffney and Ryan Gaffney (Samantha); her great grandchild Maddie Gaffney; and her sister-in-law Ruth Ann Hearington.
