He was predeceased by: his father John Hensley Appleton; and his brother Johnny Wade Appleton, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother JoAnn Appleton (Moss); his wife Catherine Suzanne Lampley Appleton; his daughters, Carrie Lynn Appleton Paschall (Nick) and Catherine Jo Olson (Grant); his grandchildren, Zachery'Drake'Hamilton, Grant Lee Olson Jr., Bristol Lynn Paschall and George Hensley Olson; and his nieces and nephews, Wade Appleton, Christina Appleton, Rebecca Appleton and Carson Lampley.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
