He is survived by: his wife Sherry Goddard Jacobs; his children, Ashley (Lori) of Fairfax Station, VA, Charles of Pelham, Kathleen Jacobs (Kate), Sandi Thornton of Clayton, NC and Barbara Davis (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Luke, Riley, Murphy Jacobs, Valerie, Ty Woronicak, Dallas Thornton, Holly Thornton Blake, Taylor Thornton, Amy Hurt and Morgan Smith; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Adalyn Blake, Atticus Thornton, Leo Hurt and Carter Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their children, plus brothers and sisters-in-law.
