He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Clinton (Hanky); his sons, Gregg and Tony Clinton; his parents, Austell Clinton and Gertrude Clinton; and his brothers, Allen and Leonard Clinton.
He is survived by: his daughters-in-law, Carlene Clinton of Sweetwater and Jackie Clinton of Houston, TX; his son Mark; his daughter-in-law Pam Clinton of Athens, TN; his daughter Beth; his son-in-law Tommy "Corky" Jones of Sweetwater, TN; his grandchildren, Jonathan Clinton, Hanna Clinton, Kristin Hill, Christopher Jones, Ben Jones and Mike Jones; his sister Mae Harris of Philadelphia; and his close friend Gary Kimsey of Philadelphia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, several great-grandchildren.
