He was predeceased by : his wife Alma Rosetta Wilkerson "Silky"; his parents, Arthur "Harrison" Wilkerson and Emma Wilkerson (Locke); his son Daniel Eugene Wilkerson; and his siblings, Thelma Ratledge, Hazel McGraw, Floyd, Donald, Harrison, Jr., Earl, Edward, Ernest, George and James "JD" Wilkerson.
He is survived by : his children, Brigina T Wilkerson and Major David E Wilkerson; his grandsons, Bryce and Derek of North Carolina; his son Shane Wilkerson (Jennifer); his granddaughters, Victoria, Kimberly and Scarlet of Oak Ridge; and his siblings-in-law, Laura Ann, Betty Wilkerson and J. N. Upton (Rebekah). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family request gifts be sent to the local Parkinson's Association or Cole Neuroscience Center @ UTMC.
