Terry L. Brown wrote a sympathy message

“My heart has an emptiness for I have lost a classmate, teammate, and a very dear friend. Growing up in Church, school, and, sports I have many fond memories with Ronnie. Even though I have not seen Ronnie that much since highschool. There is a kindred spirit. Growing up together playing pickup baseball in the sloping open field that was once at Rosedale and Ward. Singing together in God's Squad at the First Baptist Church or shooting basketball behind the annex there.”

“Of course Jack Hodge's Sunday School Class. Great times, Great memories, Great Friend is what Ronnie will always be to me. I remember standing in the huddle beside Ronnie watching the those final seconds tick down. At that time a moment of perfection became reality. There has been those in our lives there in Loudon that were great mentors. Ronnie took those lessons and values and did the same in his life and others. I know when Ronnie went home on the 11th God was there to greet him.”

Linnea Elliott wrote a sympathy message

“We have all lost a great man! He loved life, his family, his kids at school and most of all loved coaching. Ronnie's smile alway lit up when he talked about any of the football teams. He always had something to say with proudness mentioning any of his kids. He was proud and he always taught and coached with his heart to bring out the best in all of the kids and adults too. You will be dearly missed! RIP with LOVE”
