He was predeceased by : his parents, Ora Ruth Phelps and Kenneth Alvin Pipkin; his stepfather Jim Phelps; his brother Wayne Pipkin; his grandson Timothy Biggs; and his father-in-law Harry Milton Tracy.

He is survived by : his wife Laura Pipkin; his children, Robin Pipkin Parker, Laura Burk and Kenneth Wayne Pipkin; his children-in-law, Jesse Parker, Lonnie Burk and Elicia Pipkin; his grandchildren, Vincent Pipkin, Britney Pipkin, Skylar Pipkin, Kody Biggs, Jonathan Burk, Alexis Burk, Aniyah Burk and Jaydin Burk; his granddaughter-in-law May Biggs; his great grandchildren, Weston Pipkin, Elaina Pipkin, Jennifer Biggs, Sapphire Biggs, Ona Biggs, Sailor Cabilao and Myj Cabilao; and his mother-in-law Ethel Maxine Elkins.
