He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Burton and Grace Burton; and his siblings, Betty Gray, Helen Burton, Mack, Troy and James Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Burton; his daughter Stacy Baird (Mark); his granddaughters, Makaylee Cline, Abby and Reagan Baird; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Burton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kyker Funeral Homes Our Sweetwater Chapel (113 W North St, Sweetwater, TN 37874). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Cedar Fork Baptist Church Cemetery (1780 Sweetwater Rd, Philadelphia, TN 37846). A burial was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
