He is survived by: his wife Norma Dempsey; his sons, Roger Dempsey (Terri) of Dunlap, TN, Joe Dempsey of Dunlap, TN and Randell Dempsey (Kelley) of Dunlap, TN; his brothers, Jimmy Ray Dempsey of Atlanta, GA and Mark Dempsey of Whitwell, TN; his grandchildren, Michael Dempsey (Haley) of Pikeville, TN, Michaela Holland (Coty) of Sparta, TN, Christopher Dempsey of Dunlap, TN, Cortney Dempsey of Dunlap, TN and Seth Dempsey of Pikeville, TN; and his great grandchildren, Greyson, Caden, Roan, Evelyn, Ansley, Jasper and Clara. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
