It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Howell of Pikeville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 11, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Emily departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Emily. Though Emily may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Beecher Howell; her parents, Tom Walls and Bethel Walls; and her siblings, Davis Walls, Martha Hellen Webb and Marie McLemore.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald F. Howell and Robert E. Howell. She is also survived by several other family members; and a host of friends.
