He was predeceased by: his son Everett Pendergrass, Jr.; his parents, Betty Pendergrass and John Herman Pendergrass; his siblings, Lois, Flossie, Lenora, Claude, Cilvester, Lorene, Blake, Shirley, Claudine and Ellen; and his brother-in-law Mitchell DeBord.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Pendergrass of Knox County, TN; his children, Betty Lynn Brown (Joe) of Corryton, TN, Tina Seminerio (William) of Georgetown, TX and John Herman Pendergrass (Pam) of Powell, TN; his daughter-in-law Rose Pendergrass; and his siblings, Jack Pendergrass (Jean) of Pikeville, TN, Mary Frances Clemons (David) of Hendersonville, TN and Jewell Boyce (Randy) of Lebanon, TN. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
